REIKI

As well as being a healing therapy, it is a method of self-realization, a path to the light, a path to ourselves.

Reiki doesn’t require any knowledge of philosophy, religion or medicine and it can be used by any person.

Reiki’s founder Mikao Usui was born in Japan in 1865 and died in 1926. While there are many stories about Usui, what is important is that he imparted his understanding of the power of this healing energy to the world.

Anyone who has experienced Reiki will tell you that at the very least they felt relaxed at the end of the treatment.  Reiki does much more than that.

The Reiki Principles are:

  • Today I will Not Get Angry
  • Today I will Not Worry
  • Today I will Show My Appreciation
  • Today I will Work Hard
  • Today I will Be Kind To Others

There are various levels in Reiki and each is learned from a Master who teaches the correct placement of the hands and the symbols.
